Earl Grey yogurt cake- suprisingly good... I didn't think I'd like the tea leaves in the cake but the flavor is actually really subtle and nice.
- it's another bon appetit recipe, I need to branch out with recipe sources but theirs
are so easy to follow along to
- used tea from bags instead of loose leaf tea, the recipe calls for 1/4 cup
but I got so tired of ripping open the bags that I stopped at about 1/5 of a cup-
I think this is better anyway
- found an old orange in the fridge and zested some into the batter after
I added the tea leaves, I can't tell if I'm actually tasting it since I used so little but I think it added some nice citrusy flavor to it?
- baked at 325 for 1 hr, the little incense stick I poked into it came out clean
but around the middle of the cake near the bottom it was underdone (▰︶︹︺▰)

Focaccia bread- the first bread I've ever baked
- used this recipe
- the first rise in the fridge took about 12 hrs, I left it in there overnight
- second rise it sat on top of the oven at 300 degrees F for about 2 hrs
- baked for 25 min but that may not be right bc of the giant hole in my oven
Turned out very very well- next time add rosemary & olives
